Community Leaders To Go “Behind Bars For Good”, At The Fireplace Restaurant In Brookline To Benefit MDA

Many business and civic leaders throughout the Brookline and Newton area will be missing for a few hours on Tuesday, April 10th. These notable “Most Wanted” citizens will be going “behind bars for good” to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association at the Brookline-Newton Lock-Up.

MAFCU Presents “Couples and Money" Financial Seminar

MAFCU will present “Couples and Money" on Wednesday, February 29 12 to 1 pm at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Tanger Be Well Center, a MAFCU affiliate organization. Participants will learn personality factors that influence the way people think about money, and communication techniques to help couples navigate managing money together.

Presentation on Efforts to Eradicate Polio in Africa Stirs Consciousness

Dr. Philip Sandler, Recording Secretary of the Rotary Club of Brookline, recently offered a thought-provoking presentation of his November trip to Mali, Africa.  He  traveled with ten Rotarians from North America to the impoverished African nation to inoculate hundreds of children and adults against polio.
